Bug Hotel

You don’t need to love bugs to love this activity! This is a great way to get kids interested in the tiny creatures around them and to teach a little empathy for those creatures, even those that might feel kind of yucky or unimportant.

Using only items that you can find at home and outside, you can create a haven for creatures that contribute to your neighborhood ecosystem.

It’s always fun to pair a book with an activity, and we really love this sweet book, Bug Hotel (A Clover Robin Book of Nature), that has beautiful illustrations and a lot of information that might help your little get excited about the activity.
