Laser Maze Obstacle Course

The beauty of this activity is not just the end product, it’s the process! The activities we recommend aren’t just about the doing, you can extend the play when you get your kids involved in the planning and prepping. It helps them learn 1) things don’t just magically happen for them and 2) there’s fun in the process.

With a few simple materials and a little bit of planning, you can create a “laser” maze at home. Feel free to add other obstacles to make this more challenging, or make it simpler by using fewer streamers and bringing the maze lower down to the ground for smaller kids.

You can pick up streamers from Target, Walmart, or a party supply store. Pro-tip: take your kids to the party supply store with you; it’s fun just to walk around!
