Moon Sand

This simple but satisfying activity kept some of our littles occupied for the better part of an hour. The sensory experience of squishing the two simple materials together, and experimenting with different ratios of the materials, and the addition of moon- or space-related toys kept the play interesting and exciting.

Take the play outside to keep messes contained. It helps to have a larger container or baking dish to allow for mixing.

We also love these tiny little astronauts mix-ins. Not necessary, but adorable. We also used these as mix-ins for our glowing space slime activity.
