Reliable, loving and experienced nanny needed for 15-month-old in Fort Worth (76114)
About our family:
We’re a dual-physician family with one 15 month old daughter and one friendly dog living in Westworth Village. We are a loving, joyful and busy family that enjoys spending time together.
Our daughter is an energetic toddler, and she loves music, art, and outdoor play. We enjoy spending time outside, and we focus on learning through play and reading.
Work details:
Full-time (40 hours) per week with variable schedule week by week; schedule will be known in advance. Start time no earlier than 7am, end time no later than 7pm.
$25/hour with guaranteed weekly pay at 40 hours per week
2 weeks PTO
5 sick days
Paid holidays
Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld
Work requirements:
First Aid / CPR certification, agency can provide if required
3+ years relevant experience as a nanny
Bilingual Spanish preferred, not required
Experience with potty training, maintaining sleep/eat/play routines
Licensed and insured driver
Conversational English (can be first or second language)
Must be ok with dogs (one medium-sized dog)
At this time, we cannot accommodate our nanny bringing her own child
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day basic care of our daughter (diapering, feeding, etc.) She does not have any special needs, allergies, or major medical conditions
General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning
Lots of reading, play and outdoor time
Outings to the zoo, museum, library, etc
Child’s laundry, once a week, including putting away
Child’s meal prep (lunch, snack)
Tidying up of common and play areas before leaving, including living room, kitchen, nursery and playroom (as related to childcare activities)
About you:
You’re loving, gentle, nurturing and creative. You’re comfortable with the ever changing needs of toddlers and can adapt to and support those changes with love. You have a few years of experience with infants and toddlers and can match our daughter’s energy level (from calm to active). You’re a good communicator and are open to partnering with us to raise our daughter.
As a physician family, we rely on our caregivers to be on time, reliable and responsible.
