Any activity that takes us outside is a winner in my book. I told my little that we were going to make a nature puzzle, and I needed her help gathering the supplies. We took a long walk in this lovely fall weather looking for nature items. When we got home, we spread out the materials and talked about the different things we picked up and what we liked about them. There are lots of ways to extend this activity, and if you have kids of different ages around, you can ask the older kids to help you create the puzzle.
