Jello Dig

We find that kids love this Jello Dig activity because it’s fun, messy, sensory play. And if the weather is nice, you can just hose down afterwards which, honestly, is a big part of the fun.


Find a container that is large enough to hold several plastic, waterproof themed toys. You can go a little smaller if you have little figures you can hide in the Jello. Sensory-bin style containers work really well for this activity, but a bucket or a big mixing bowl work great too.

There’s no need to buy any additional toys for this activity if you already have some waterproof / plastic figures, but we’ll drop some links to some themed figures if you’re still building your collection:
