About our family:

We have three kids: 4 year old, 2 year old, and 1 year old. We are a very laid back, hard-working happy family who enjoys laughing and being together. We are a child centered family that owns our own business. Education and nutrition are very important and prioritized. Relationships and imaginative play are our top two daily focuses with our littles!

Mom and dad work outside of the home, and we would love to welcome our nanny as a beloved part of our family so we know our kids are in loving hands while we are away from home.

We live near Waterside Shopping Center.

Work details:

• Full time, live-out nanny (40 hours per week)

• Start date: February 2025

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 7am - 4pm. Wednesdays: 1pm - 5pm

• $25/hr

• 2 weeks paid time off

• 5 paid sick days

• Paid major holidays

• Paid by direct deposit with taxes withheld

Experience & Education Requirements:

• First Aid / CPR certification

• 3+ years relevant experience, either as a parent, nanny, summer / short-term nanny, babysitter, or childcare facility

• Prefer some college

• Must be up to date on vaccinations

• Licensed and insured driver

• Conversational English (can be first or second language)

• Must be ok with dogs (we have one dog)

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day basic care of our youngest 

• School drop-off and pickup for our oldest, going to ballet class on Tuesdays

• General activity-planning to guide age-appropriate learning

• Lots of reading, play and outdoor time

• Scheduling play dates with friends and other nannies

• Outings to the zoo, museum, library.

• Children’s meal prep (lunch, snack). We prioritize nutrition and eat organic, low-sugar, dye-free food and would like our nanny to be consistent in this aspect

• Keeping kids’ rooms organized and tidy

• Putting away dishes and wiping down countertops at the end of the day, and cleaning up any messes made during your time with the kids

About you:

You have experience with toddlers and preschoolers. You’re loving, intelligent, kind and fun! We like to have fun with our kids and hope to find someone who can find joy and humor in being in the chaos. You’re mindful about hygiene and cleanliness, and you prioritize our children’s safety.

You’re a good communicator, know when to ask questions, and you have good judgment. You’re reliable and responsible because we run our own business and we also need to be reliable for our clients. 

Ideally we would love for you to be with our family for a long time. We are so excited to meet our new nanny! Our nanny is a beloved and very important part of the family.
